Virtual Coin and Gift Terms
__
These terms apply in addition to the Terms of Service and the Refund Policy.
1. Coins are a closed-loop licence
Coins are a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive licence to access a feature of iDateHabesha. They are not money, not a deposit, not stored value, and not a payment instrument. You do not own coins and they are not your property.
2. No cash value
Coins have no cash value. They cannot be redeemed, exchanged, cashed out, withdrawn, or converted into money, cryptocurrency, goods, or services outside iDateHabesha.
3. Non-transferable
Coins are nontransferable. They cannot be sold, gifted as balance, traded, assigned, inherited, or moved between accounts. Only virtual gifts can be sent to another member, and only inside the app.
4. Virtual gifts
A virtual gift is a decorative image shown to the recipient inside the app. It carries no monetary value, cannot be resold or redeemed by the recipient, and gives the recipient no coins.
5. No guarantee of any outcome
Buying coins or sending a gift does not guarantee a match, a reply, a conversation, a date, or any relationship, and does not give you access to any member who has not matched with you. Members are free to ignore, decline, block, or report any gift. A gift sent before a match does not create a match, a conversation, or permission to message.
6. No refunds except where required by law
Coin purchases are final. Purchases made in the iOS app are billed by Apple and any refund is requested from Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com or through Apple Support; iDateHabesha cannot issue Apple refunds. Web purchases are handled by support@idatehabesha.com. See the Refund Policy for the limited circumstances in which a refund is given.
7. Pricing and catalogue changes
We may change coin package prices, gift prices, and the gift catalogue at any time. Changes are not retroactive: coins already in your wallet keep their coin quantity.
8. Expiry
Coins do not expire while your account is active and in good standing. Unused coins are forfeited when an account is closed, suspended, or terminated.
9. Misuse
Coins obtained through fraud, chargeback abuse, exploitation of a bug, automated activity, or any breach of the Terms of Service may be reversed or removed, and the account may be restricted. Reversals are recorded permanently in the coin ledger.
10. Records
Purchase and coin ledger records are kept as required by financial and tax law even after an account is deleted, and are reduced or pseudonymised where the law allows.
