Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your iDateHabesha account at any time. This page explains what deletion does, what alternatives exist, and what happens after you submit a request.

How to request deletion

If you are signed in, use the confirm-email form below on this page to request deletion of your account. Type your account email exactly to confirm, then submit. We will sign you out and begin the deletion process.

If you are not signed in or you no longer have access to your account, email us at support@idatehabesha.com from the email on file and we will verify and process the request.

Deactivate vs delete

• Deactivate / hide from Discover: pauses your profile so no one can see or match with you. Your data is preserved and you can return any time. Manage this from your profile settings.
• Delete: removes your profile, photos, likes, matches, messages, and voice messages from the app. This action is intended to be permanent.

If you only want a break, deactivation is usually the better choice.

What deletion does

After you confirm a deletion request:

• Your profile is removed from Discover immediately.
• Your matches no longer see you, and your active conversations are closed.
• Your photos, profile fields, and message contents are scheduled for removal.
• You are signed out of every device.

What may be retained

Some information may be retained for a limited period after deletion to:

• comply with legal, tax, or regulatory obligations;
• prevent fraud, abuse, and ban evasion;
• investigate or document safety reports that involve your account;
• maintain basic audit and security logs.

After that period the data is removed.
